Founded in 1977, The Choir has gained a well-deserved reputation for performing neglected and unfamiliar music as well as better known and popular pieces, both sacred and secular. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend three rehearsals before an informal voice appraisal.

Celebrating world music and arts Promoting multi-cultural awareness Supporting children's health and education projects in The Gambia, West Africa As well as hosting an annual World Musicand Arts Festival and The Choir we also run a weekly West African Drumming workshop. Both groups enjoy performing at our own and oTher local community events and festivals.  

We're a group of young professionals who specialise in early music, but Polyphony especially. The singers are made up of CaThedral Choral scholars and Oxbridge Choral scholars. They're directed by MatThew Collins.

The Choir stresses The same philosophical goals as its younger counterpart, striving to achieve musical excellence and artistic integrity, as well as combining new interpretive techniques with more traditional Choral expertise.
