A CD of his choral mUsic, I am The Song, was released in 2016 on Signum Classics. Bernard’s mUsic featured on The Horrible Histories film Bill (2015), and he co-produced The album, Not Now, Bernard & OTher Stories, performed Orchestra of The Swan and Alexander Armstrong, released in February 2020. In January 2020 Bernard’s choral mUsic was featured in a portrait concert by The BBC Singers, and in November 2020 one of The pieces from that concert, I Sing of Love, was nominated by The Ivors Academy for an Ivors Composer Award. The choir was established in 1996 (originally in The Lehava High School for Girls) by Singer/choral conductor Nomi Teplow with The goal of bringing togeTher girls with mUsical ability to work on a highly professional level and produce a wide variety of vocal mUsic. The choir is comprised of 25-30 girls from areas throughout Samaria ranging in age from 13-18 years. The Shir-El choir performs in concerts and at vocal conventions across The country bringing fine Singing, rich harmonies and words of hope, faith and love of Israel to a broad range of audiences. We bring The exuberant and uplifting sound of gospel mUsic to These two central London churches each month. We wanted a Song that spoke to hope and community so we decided on 'The Prayer' as a way of bringing hope and comfort to those that hear The Song.
