Roughly a year after conception the group has successfully represented the Philippines at the 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition, Hoi An 2011. Under the Leadership of Founder and Choirmaster Ron Oñate, they brought home 2 silver diplomas for the Folk and Sacred Music Categories from the said competition, establishing their mark on the international Choir scene. Chamz, as they are popularly known, has continually rendered their voices for various Television shows, Music Festivals, Product endorsements, corporate events, charity concerts and outreach activities. Acknowledged by the City Government of Mandaluyong, alongside the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir as one of the cities Musical pride, the group had started to accumulate support from people that their heartwarming voices have touched. The name Singkronies means singing without pause, as well as the desire to sing in a synchronized manner. We are conducted by the talented conductor and tenor, Nicholas Nicolaidis.

This was the first group to become active at Academia Concerto in 2005 and during this time has made significant projects such as the participation in the Opera "Il Capulletti ed Il Montecchi" by Bellini, with first complete performance in Brazil in São Pedro Theatre - São Paulo, sang the American Musical "Video Games Live" with composer Jack Wall, made a joint presentation with the American Choir "BYU Singers", performed Vivaldi’s "Beatus Vir" RV 579 for two Choirs and orchestra with Madrigal Mackenzie. In 2011 was Guest Choir at International Choir Festival MUNDUS CANTAT in Poland and held a series of 13 concerts in various cities including the capital, Warsaw. The Choir has participated in numerous international Festivals and competitions in which it won many gold medals. In April 2011 the Choir won three gold medals and the Grand Prix of the Slovakia Cantat international competition in which tens of European male, female and mixed Choirs competed.  less
