İnci Tığlı Ayağ. Since its foundation, Alegria Chamber Choir has been performing under the guidance of conductor İnci Tığlı Ayağ and assistant conductor Gözde Saatçioğlu. Between 2002 and 2008, Alegria Chamber Choir performed under the scope of Ankara Çoksesli Müzik Derneği (Ankara Polyphonic Music Association), a prestigious association which was founded in 1974. Since 2008, the choir has been extending his repertoire and performing fully independently as a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The purpose of Alegria is to introduce to large audiences the world’s choir repertoire from different periods and regions. Alegria has now about 30 members divided into four voices and performs music dating from the Renaissance to Contemporary in all styles such as sacred and folk. The choir's size changes as per the musical requirements of the specific project being undertaken. The name Singkronies means singing without pause, as well as the desire to sing in a synchronized manner. We are conducted by the talented conductor and tenor, Nicholas Nicolaidis.

With an emphasis on play and discovery, this group explores singing and music in a secure but exciting environment. Tamariki offers a focus on thorough and excellent music education, with singers learning about healthy Vocal production, the body-voice connection, and vibrant performance presence as well as a strong emphasis on musical literacy, music theory, and sightsinging skills. As with all our ensembles, Tamariki provides a secure and accepting social environment where all singers feel their importance as members of the group. Most importantly, Tamariki has fun and creates exciting music! It is well known a...  moreGOSPEL SINGERS WANTED, Audition 5th & 6th July 2021 – Black History Month Background Union Chapel is a historic church based in Islington with a small but enthusiastic congregation looking to expand our horizons. It is well known as an iconic music venue attracting major artists. It is also a centre for social justice and community activities. In recent years, the church has been developing music in our Sunday services with a range of genres, classical, Jazz, gospel, and world music. The church has also created several unique events led by our musicians. These have included our annual Christmas Candlelight service, Good Friday evening performances and smaller events to commemorate such occasions as Black History Month, a remembrance event in the Covid pandemic. Besides the usual church festivals, we also have special services for Refugee Week, Gay Pride, Holocaust Memorial, and other special commemorations.
