In its 30 year history, the choir has sung in the most prestigious venues, not only in the UK but also all over Europe, forming strong bonds of friendship with several choirs from overseas. The choir continues to grow in strength and has won awards for contributions to choral music and Cornish culture.  

The Russian Chamber Choir performs together with the children's choir Pearls of Odessa from Ukraine with Larissa Garbuz, live from the Amstelkerk in Amsterdam.

Under the direction of Lisa Wong, the choir has been praised for its beauty of sound, high level of artistry, and engaging performances. The Wooster Chorus presents several concerts both on and off-campus throughout the academic year, and embarks each spring on a week-long domestic tour. Membership is by audition. Recent collaborative performances have included Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D Minor with the Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.  less

Choir members are based all over the United Kingdom, and we come together only when we rehearse and sing at a Cathedral city. In over 25 years, nearly 400 people from all backgro...  moreChoir members are based all over the United Kingdom, and we come together only when we rehearse and sing at a Cathedral city. We do not belong to any particular geographical area or church denomination. In over 25 years, nearly 400 people from all backgrounds have sung with us - often for the first time in an English Cathedral. The number continues to grow year by year. Martin Hall, our founder, became 'Director Emeritus' in Autumn 2006 and Matthew O' Donovan took over the post of Director in his stead. Because of the way we meet, we don't require formal auditions in advance, but new Singers are expected to be excellent sight readers and to have a good choral tone.  less
