Formed his first band in Besiktas Anatolian High School and won the first prize in 2004 at a competition called the “Battle of the Bands (vol. VI)”. He won the third prize at KASDAV music competition among highschools with his arrangement in 2005 and between 2005 and 2007 he carried on singing with Turkish National Radio Choir. He took place at Alexander Markov’s Rock Concerto in 2006 in Istanbul and played the keyboard with the rock band 2 days in a row. He attended the “Musicateneo” festival in Italy with the Bosphorus University Classical Music Choir, in 2007. The same year he started conducting the Bosphorus University Jazz Choir with which he also sang between 2005 and 2007 and with that group he attended many festivals including the 15th International Istanbul Jazz Festival, 18th Akbank Jazz Festival and 7th Jazz Musicians’ Festival. With this group, he also gigged with Sertab Erener many times. (eurovision 2003 winner) He managed to get the “silver diplom” at the most prestigious a cappella contest in the world called “Vokal.Total” both in pop and jazz categories. After taking part at the 7th Jazz Musicians’ Festival, these 5 people were named as “Istanbul Essence”. In July 2010 with Bogazici Jazz Choir, he also attended to the biggest and the most prestigious choral music organisation "WORLD CHOIR GAMES - Shaoxing 2010" in China, which hosted more than 450 choirs from 90 countries and nearly 40000 participants, and returned back to Turkey with 3 gold diplomas from the 3 categories: mixed chamber choirs, musica contemporenea, jazz. Next year, in the World Choir Championships which was held in Austria, with Boğaziçi Jazz Choir again, they became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in ‘Grand Prix of Choral Music’ the champions competed in, the choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals. He attended some choral workshops as conducted by Elisenda Carrasco i Ribot, Bernd Spitzbarth and Wim Van Herk. In 2009, one of his compositions called "Dante's Last Day" was played in 3. Young Composers Festival. He also attended to the choral conducting masterclass, "European Academy For Young Choral Conductors" directed by Johannes Prinz in Graz, Austria. In 2010, he attended to the composition masterclass "5th International Workshop for Young Composers" in Latvia and got the chance to study with some composers such as Par Lindgren, Richard Ayres and David Lang. The same year, he also attended to the choral conducting masterclasses directed by Volker Hempfling in Germany and Denes Szabo in Hungary. In Germany, he also got the chance to study with Sabine Horstmann, Welfhard Lauber, Michael Reif and Maria Tonnesmann. Again in 2010, he was accepted to "Lund International Choral Academy" in Sweden, and studied choral and orchestral conducting with Tõnu Kaljuste and Patrik Andersson. In 2008, he quit studying Math at Bosphorus University and was accepted at Yildiz Technical University, Music and Performing Arts, Composition.
