  • About Me Sandile Zwane also known as “Legend” is a Gospel Musician, recording artist as well as a song writer, from Folweni within the Durban Region, South Africa. He has been in the music industry for 10 years working with different experienced musicians in the field which has inspired him so much and motivated him to further his career in the music industry.

    In 2009, He had a vision and started his own gospel group known by the name THE PRAISE WORSHIPPERS.
    In 2015 he had the opportunity to be a member of the ETHEKWINI GOSPEL CHOIR, which was founded by Mr Ngongoma and Ndlela.
    He was also given the opportunity to perform a lead song in the Live Recording of the Ethekwini Gospel Choir which gave him publicity as an emerging artist.
    “Working with EGC has been the greatest experience. It has taught me to believe in myself more, and that nothing is impossible, the sky is the limit if only you put your mind to it and be willing to learn and be taught.
    It has also enhanced my writing skills through song writing. As an artist I am now confident and most of all I great faith in myself.
    I was further nominated for new comer on live your dream youth awards in the year 2016, which was a very big achievement for me.
    My music career started taking shape, through the years and was granted the opportunity to perform in big events such as uMlazi Extravangaza, Folweni Festival, Mbokodo FM , Big fish prayer event @ECC,Durban playhouse talent search etc.. I have shared stage with, Sgwili Zuma, Babo Ngcobo, Dumi Mkokstad, Lusanda Beja, Sipho Ngwenye and more.
    I've had several interviews with Isolezwe, Pinetown/ hilicrest faver & eyethu newspaper just to mention a few. I've also been in interviews in radio stations like imbokodo fm, intokozo fm & highway fm.
    I am a born again Christian and a worshiper at Fountain of life family church under the leadership of Apostle SJ Msomi.

    My community is really important to me. Hence I assist upcoming gospel groups, solo artists and coaching school choirs.

    Early this year(2020) I released my first single song titled “sibongumusa”
    My music is recorded at the CMP recording studio in Durban.
    I am inspired by Benjamin Dube, he is powerful worshiper and song writer. His music changes people’s souls.
    It is not an easy journey, however with passion, determination nothing is impossible. God has been the source of my strength through the music journey. And I I believe that He is still going to use me more through worship and praise to be a blessing to the people.
