About Me Jack Worth Henry (b 1989) has been an active San Francisco Bay Area musician since the age of 8. Jack started studying guitar at the age of 8, and then the double bass at the age of 11.
Jack started composing music at the age of 14, and had his first orchestral work performed at the age of 15.

Jack has studied guitar with James Fiatarone, Mike Williams, and Marc Simons.

Jack has studied composition with Bernard Crane, Christopher Olin, Martin Rokeach, Allen Shearer, and Libby Larsen.

Jack has also studied choral conducting with Buddy James.

Jack was the youngest recipient of the Youth Inspiring Youth Commission (2008) and was also commissioned to compose a piece for choirs from California State University, East Bay, Las Positas Community College, and Palo Alto High School (2011).

Jack was Assistant Director of Opus Q, a men’s vocal ensemble based in Berkeley, CA, Vice-President of the student chapter for ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) at California State University, East Bay, in Hayward, CA from 2011 - 2013.

Jack has been the Tenor Section Leader for the Choral/Singing Society at California State University, East Bay, as well as an unpaid intern for Musically Minded Academy in Oakland, CA.

Jack was also a Music Therapy intern at Mercy Retirement and Care Center in Oakland, CA for five-months in 2011.
