About Me
Echo is a group of harmonizing women who love to sing, directed by well-respected community music leaders Alan Gasser and Katie White.
Echo is welcoming to women of all ages, cultural, racial and religious backgrounds. We are a non-auditioned choir. An ability to read music is helpful but not necessary. Anyone can join!
The choir is committed to a unique and eclectic repertoire with a focus on world music, Canadian artists, social justice for women, the environment, peace, musical excellence and passionate expression.
Echo is dedicated to remaining an accessible community to all Torontonians by offering a sliding scale, both for membership fees and for concert tickets.
We begin our spring season on
Tuesday, January 14, 7-9pm, 2024 at
Holy Trinity Church, Toronto
19 Trinity Square (Dundas subway, accessible)
beside the Eaton Centre.
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and the occasional Saturday. We’ll have a workshop, open rehearsal, orientation for new members, sectionals, break-end singing and more!
Season Fees are $200. Sept – Dec. & Jan. - May
We strive to make singing accessible for everyone.
