About Me The Chamber Singers of Southeast Iowa have brought joy and inspiration to their community for almost 30 years. Since 1991, founder and music director Elaine Reding has expanded the group’s repertoire to include choral music from across the ages, ranging from medieval and Renaissance masterworks to new contemporary pieces and multicultural music. The Chamber Singers perform two full concerts annually and sing for many community and special events, delighting their large audiences with innovative programming that has included over 600 choral works from 40 countries. They joined DCINY in Carnegie Hall for Kim André Arnesen’s Requiem in 2017 and are honored to have been invited back by the composer to sing his beautiful Magnificat.
