  • About Me Studied piano and organ in the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin, I also have had an abiding interest in choirs, choral singing and choral composition and arranging. My choral experience goes back to the late 1960s. Formative influences were undoubtedly Kodaly and Stanford, although my experience of the choral repertoire over the years has grown to be fairly extensive - from Machaut to Machuel. Currently Chef de Choeur (Choirmaster) of the Choeur d'Alzonne, a small town near Carcassonne in the Languedoc, France. This is a group of about 25 singers, mainly French, with some anglophone members too. I also like to keep my hand in as a chorister.
