About Me I have a degree in music education, was self employed for 24 years as a private music instructor, was church pianist/soloist, studio session singer, and directed home school choirs from K5-12th Grades. After our children grew up, I began a new career as full-time worship arts associate in a large church. I directed sanctuary Choir/orchestra, rhythm section, youth and senior choir. Now I have begun a new chapter, as of this past September, 2014, a community choir of adults ages 50 +, and we have 110 members. It is called The King's Choir, and is growing both in quality and in quantity as the demand is high, corresponding with the recent trend of churches marginalizing church choirs with increasing frequency. Our choir rehearses one day per week Thursdays from 10:30 am-12:00 pm, and sings in a local senior community once a month as well as scheduling special concerts throughout the year and singing in other local venues.
Our current website is a work in progress, and we are working on finalizing a permanent site now that we see that this choir is truly serving a large portion of our community and is in a positive growth pattern.
