About Me
I was born into an Italian-Brazilian family of church musicians, singers, and music teachers in São Paulo, Brazil, and have been a professional musician, conductor, singer and voice teacher for over 30 years. I maintain an online voice studio based in Providence, RI, and inspire singers from all walks of life to develop their craft, be it as soloists or ensemble performers. I have coached at the New York Festival of Song, Curtis Institute of Music, taught conducting and vocal technique master classes at the Sacred Music Society of Brazil; was voice faculty at Westminster Choir College and Westminster Conservatory, in Princeton, NJ, and artistic faculty of voice for the Hotchkiss Summer Portals Vocal Program in Lakeville, CT, as well as Haverford College, in Philadelphia. I have performed and recorded with professional groups such as The New York Choral Artists at Lincoln Center, The Philadelphia Singers, and for many years performed at the Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston, SC, and Spoleto, Italy, as part of The Westminster Choir, and worked and performed with Joseph Jennings and members of CHANTICLEER at their workshop in Sonoma, CA. I am founder, artistic and administrative director of "SERENADES Choral Travel", a Choral & Cultural summer program in Noto, Sicily. I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance with distinction as well as a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. For many years I performed, recorded and toured as a member of the world renowned Westminster Choir under Joseph Flummerfelt.
