  • About Me SANDY SHERMAN is a songwriter and lyricist with songs featured in many popular films, T.V. series and artist compilations. Her children's songs have delighted millions of children and among her list of credits are songs for Disney Records (gold record), Disney Channel, Buena Vista Videos, Children's Television Workshop, Shari Lewis, LeapFrog Toys, Learning Curve Toys, Educational Insights and Hal Leonard Publishing. Her musical theater contributions include "The Little Witch of Wichita" , an award winning family musical with numerous productions including at the prestigious Geffen Theater, Los Angeles; "Beyond Jacob's Ladder" which inspired the creation of the song "God Is In This Place"; and "American Twistory" (executive producer, Larry King) that highlights the anthemic, patriotic finale song “From Where We Stand” . Her Chanukah song, "There's Something About Those Candles" has been performed by choirs (SATB & TTB), soloists and orchestras around the world and is on its way to becoming an international holiday standard
