About Me
I am currently the music teacher and director of the music program and Choir Club, Select Choir and Mini Music Makers at Bridgewater Academy Charter School.
I have been performing and training for over 30 years in both flute and voice. I started performing in church as a singer at 3 years old, thanks to my mother who was a theatre performer and active solo singer. I began flute training on the Recorder at 8 years old and graduated to the flute a year later.
I have performed in various orchestras and ensembles, musicals, choirs, bands and studied various genres of both vocal and flute music. Including the Desert Community Orchestra (2nd Flute at 15 years old), California State Summer Scholars, Carolina Master Chorale; Coastal Carolina Concert, Chamber, Women's Jazz choir; Flute Choir, Symphonic Band and theatre department.
I have also been a member of a number of theatre groups in the Myrtle Beach area and currently work with Act Two Productions in Myrtle Beach.
In 2015 I enrolled in the Music program at Coastal Carolina University, in order to better serve my students in my studio and choir.
