About Me He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Trabzon, Turkey.
He graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Education School Music Education
Department. In 2000, he was accepted into Yeditepe University Art Management masters
program (English). After the English preparatory education there, in 2002, he was accepted to The Western Michigan University Music School and returned to Istanbul in June 2003 without
completing the program. In 2006, he started his third master’s studies at Istanbul Kultur
University Art Management Department, and completed his thesis named “Carl Orff and
Carmina Burana Cantata” under the supervision of Prof. Mesut İktu, in 2012. In January
2013, he was accepted to PhD studies at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory General Musicology Department and prepared his dissertation; Comparative Study of Anatolian Auditory Heritage and completed in 2023. He performed in Marmara University Choir, TRT Istanbul Youth Chorus, Istanbul State Opera Youth Chorus with the conductors Prof. Yücel Elmas and Gökçen Koray, in the Istanbul Chamber Choir with Yeşua Aroyo as a bass-baritone. He taught general music, choir, and piano lessons in public and private schools, and directed the TRT Istanbul Radio Youth Choir between 2013-2014. He participated in many projects, concerts, festivals and competitions, symposium speeches, workshops, and social responsibility studies in the USA such as Harvard, Yale and Northwestern, and Europe such as Stockholm, Paris and Rome with the Children's and Youth Choirs. In 2017, he was accepted by the Vienna The University of Music and Performing Arts Beethoven Piano Institute with the Erasmus program Prof. Inci Häusler-Altınok's piano pedagogy and interpretation studies. Between 2010-2018, he had been conducted Istanbul Kultur University Polyphonic Choir and taught Polyphonic Choral Vocal, Western Music, and World Music Culture as a lecturer at the same university. He delivered oral presentations titled; Music and Demographics in Anatolia: Instruments, Laments, Lullabies; the universities such as Harvard, Yale, and Northwestern. He had been teaching world music, choral vocal, western music history, sound design at Istanbul Istinye University, also the conductor of the university's choir. At the same time, he had been teaching Solfeggio, Piano and Research Methodology courses at the graduate studies level of Okan University Conservatory since the beginning of 2024. In September 2024, he moved to New York, US.
