  • About Me Percussionist, drummer and producer Mila Schiavo has worked with Brazilian artists and bands such as: Roupa Nova, Nico Rezende, Barão Vermelho, Leny Andrade, Titãs, Guilherme Arantes, David Byrne, Howard Levy, Paulo Moura, Virgínia Rodrigues, Caetano Veloso, Nelson Motta , Vinicius Cantuaria, Bebel Gilberto, Paulo Moura, Antonio Adolfo, Roberto Gnatalli, among others.

    She is currently the coordinator and member of the Choir Canto das Artes and percussionist of the Trio Ikassu. The carioca is the director and teacher of percussion & drums at the School of Music of the Association of Friends of the City of Arts. She graduated from Berklee College of Music (Boston / USA), has two MBAs : (1) Public Management and Cultural Agency from Fundação CECIERJ - SEC / RJ and (2) in Business Management from PUC / RJ.

Its main focus is to develop musicality and promote the wel...  moreThe choir Canto das Artes was born in September 2018 as part of the music school of the Association of Friends of the City of Arts, in the neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Its main focus is to develop musicality and promote the well-being of its members. In the impossibility of working in person, we are operating online and focusing on the individual development of choristers during rehearsals. We use applications that allow the student to participate in a group class, practice vocal techniques, make online recordings of his suit and, the end result is the happiness of singing in a choir.
