About Me
I sang in the choir for many years until we found ourselves without a conductor in 2003 so I took over as a temporary measure (!) 13 years later, we are a bigger, stronger, much more experienced choir now!
We formed as Manx Girls Choir in 1952. MGC travelled widely in Europe and had a high standard. In 2003, we changed our name to Manx Voices. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!
