About Me The Belgian Donia Surowiec with Polish roots started her first music lessons at the age of eight. The love for music, led through the Conservatory in Amsterdam to several choral and orchestra conducting programs at home and abroad. Her field of work is geographically in both the Netherlands and Belgium. In an artistic sense, she works with different target groups; refugee teenagers, prisoners, blind children, amateurs and semi-professional musicians. She bears full responsibility for good collaboration and her musical choices. She does not lose sight of the accompanying role in the didactic sense, in which musicians are regarded as individuals. Donia communicates in a direct and open way where respect for each other is essential. In her working method, she keeps the threshold low and she sets the bar high. Positive constructive criticism leads to achievements that you did not dare to dream of. She is expressive, driven, enthusiastic and ambitious.
