Andrew Cusworth is a British composer currently living in Wales, where he is pursuing research on Welsh music.
His choral music has received recognition in international composition competitions (New Music for St Paul's Cathedral [winner 2010], King James Bible Composition Awards [Shortlisted 2011]), and has been noted for having an atmospheric quality without sacrificing musical interest. AMA was formed in 2010 by a group of friends singing together for pleasure. The name - an acronym for Angela, Marilyn, and Andrew - was created for the group's first concert at the end of 2011.
