World Champions (Scenic Folklore - WCG2012). The premier performance ensemble of Kearsney College, a leading independent high school for boys in South Africa. Winners of 10 Gold Medals (incl 3 World Champion Titles) at the World Choir Games 2000-2012. Boys join the choir as an extra-curricular activity, amid academic, sporting and other cultural activities. Approx. 40 performances per year, including national/international tours.  less

With a large repertoire ranging from art to popular music, and stretching from the medieval to the contemporary in style, this choir gives many concerts throughout the academic year, both in Ireland and abroad. Following a competitive selection process each September, eighteen gifted students are awarded a scholarship, with recipients of the award coming from a range of academic disciplines across the university, from Music to Medicine, Law, Agricultural Science, Commerce and Engineering. The choir regularly broadcasts on Irish television and radio. Since its formation in 1999, the group frequently performs with orchestras, including the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, the Earley Musicke Ensemble and the European Union Chamber Orchestra, and on the university campus with the UCD Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonic Choir. Th...  moreThe Koro San Isidro Labrador de CAA is the official choir of San Isidro Labrador Chapel of Mary Queen of Apostles Parish (MQAP) located in the cities of Parañaque and Las Piñas. Formed on 1995, the choir mainly sings at masses at the Chapel every week. The members are composed of high school, College students and out of school youth and employees who lives in Timog, CAA, Las Piñas City that is why the former name of the choir was Timog Youth Choir. The name was changed since the choir started to expand its age range from 15-20 years old to open age as long as the member would fit the singing style of the choir. The choir usually held Christmas concerts and performs at quarterly general assembly of choirs in the parish. Last June 2010, the choir became the Champions of the first-ever Choral Competition of the MQAP in line with the parish’s 25th Anniversary wherein they bested other choirs which comprises the whole parish.
