Our mission is to spread a message of respect for The natural world through music from across The globe, and we have performed at events such as Glastonbury Festival 2013 Opening Ceremony, and The United Nations World Environment Day concert in Staines and in Oxford Street, central London.
We welcome men and women of all abilities, and sessions are taught by ear so no experience is needed, just a passion for singing and a love of The earth! Our Musical Director is The renowned Susie Ro Prater who has supported choirs and natural voice movement workshops for many years.
Our very enjoyable choir practices take place once a month at The HyThe Centre in Egham, Staines, easily accessible by train from Central London and free parking onsite. We meet on Monday nights at Trinity Chapel, Robert Menzies College from 7.00-9.30pm during school terms. There are no auditions and everyone is welcome, regardless of musical experience.

The Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThe... moreThe Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is “to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for The enjoyment of The members as well as to give public and private performances for The listening pleasure of oThers”. During our musical season (September – June), The choir practices on Monday evenings from 7 – 9:30 PM at BRoadmoor Baptist Church in Richmond. In addition to our weekly practices we usually plan one or two workshops with a choral clinician, as well as evenings with guest directors.
We have two major performances per year, a Family Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert in May. We are very involved with our community and, by giving benefit concerts, help to raise funds for oTher organizations such as The Richmond Hospice Society, Canadian Cancer Foundation and Tim Horton’s Kids Camps.
