It is based in Tsuru City, located at the foot of Mt.Fuji. Under the our conductor, Prof. Masahiko Shimizu, we always practice in this Place, blessed in nature, with many friends who get together at Tsuru University. Including the annual concert held on "World Chorus Day" on the second Sunday of December every year, we perform at elementary and junior high schools, social welfare facilities, etc., and sing at chorus festivals, giving the "TSURUBUN SOUND" in a variety of venues. We have also awarded at the All Japan Chorus Competition in many times and often won top prizes in the largest chorus competition in Japan.  less

The choir’s work was interrupted for several years during its members’ academic education, as well as during their participation in different musical projects. The present line-up has been steady since 2006. Their repertoire offers a variety of styles of great difficulty and chromatic richness, and tries to take advantage of the cultural and geographic circumstances which make of the Canary Islands a multicultural Place. A remarkable feature of the group is their willingness to innovate within the choral music. Their versatility and the variety of repertoire they face can be seen in the different projects they have taken part in: short operas, official or private events, festivals, and monographic concerts on different subjects.
