Video courtesy of Steve Blowers. The members of Bournemouth Male voice met at central Bournemouth and took a coach off into the depths of Dorset to give a Concert at Tyneham Church. It was an amazing evening – the church absolutely stuffed to capacity the choir uber-vibrant and full of good music. An historic event 70 years on (to the week) from the evacuation of Tyneham and the occasion, the poetry and music stirred up many differing feelings; laughter, poignancy and nostalgia chief amongst them. A privilege to take part in the event – thanks to Lt Col Ken Davies for his perfect organisation of the event – the phrase military precision comes to mind!  less

The European Premier of Timothy Takach's "Paper Cranes" - sung by Bournemouth Male voice Choir at their Summer Concert - 9th July 2011.. We are quite pleased with this recording, for a first performance, sung from meory its not too bad at all!
