In addition, they hail from eleven different states in the Union: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and, of course, Washington, D.C. The group actually began in October 2005 recording a small project of a cappella hymns (The Hymn Project) as a Christmas gift for one of their mothers. We are a group of around 60 men based in Hampshire/Surrey in UK and who love to sing. We aim principally to entertain our audiences and ourselves, to raise money for local charities and to have fun doing it.

Their mission is to entertain, educate, unite and uplift their audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its innovation, diversity and artistic excellence. Their philanthropic mission is to provide funding and support for music education in our schools and the community. On September 10 of this year, Nashville Singers awarded their first Music Makes a Difference music education grant to John Overton High School. The singers are all volunteers, range in age from teenagers to retirees and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of the chorus. Much of the music we sing is arranged in the barbershop style. Along with entertaining our local audience KCC competes in the Mid Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society and is a consistent champion in our Division. KCC also promotes quartet singing as well as a cappella singing among the youth in our region. No venue is too small or too big.The choir regularly sings for charitable organisations and has over the years raised several thousands of pounds. Musical Director Judith Pinguey prides herself on the varied music the choir sings and has a very progressive outlook on MVC Music and likes to challange the pre concieved image of a male voice choir.  less
