We welcome people of all nationalities and faiths, who want to experience The Joy of singing and exploring music as a way of building community based on love and respect. The choir performs several major concerts each year; its Christmas and Spring concerts in Amman are highly anticipated events. Dozan wa Awtar’s repertoire includes a wide range of sacred music, from Byzantine hymns through The chorale classics of Western music to The present day and Islamic anasheed. The choir also enJoys performing secular music, including folk songs from around The world, Broadway hits and arrangements of popular, contemporary music in many languages. A sub-group of The choir, called “Dozan,” is specializing in performing traditional and contemporary music in Arabic. The Society's 200 members come from all walks of life to volunteer Their time for The Joy of making music togeTher. In addition to its concert programs, The Society works to furTher oratorio singing and provides young singers with The opportunity to advance Their careers through The annual Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition.

It was great to see that nothing, not even COVID-19 can stop people from coming togeTher to spread positivity, Joy, and good vibes! We had 50 people join to participate which was awesome! A fountain wher in this case The musical Joy starts to spray it's Joyful notes. The love for music and The willingness to reach a good choir sound is The starting point of this ambitious group of amateur singers. The choir members originate from different kind of choral background (close harmony, church choir and oratorium choir). Endora consists of 8 sopranos, 8 altos, 5 tenors and 5 basses.
