Cada uno de elLos se ha aprendido y grabado individualmente con su voz o instrumento una parte de esta canción original, para después juntarlas para dar como resultado este maravilLoso despliegue hecho por estos jóvenes de entre 13 y 15 años con motivo de la ceremonia de graduación de la generación 2011-2014. Estos jóvenes nos demuestran que lo único que hace falta para lograr tus metas es arriesgarte y dar todo de tí. the Ensemble Thios OmiLos was founded in 2002 by members of the Leipzig Thomanerchor and quickly became recognized for their stylistic dedication to the interpretation of sacred music as well as secular literature from the renaissance to modern. From reno...  morethe Ensemble Thios OmiLos was founded in 2002 by members of the Leipzig Thomanerchor and quickly became recognized for their stylistic dedication to the interpretation of sacred music as well as secular literature from the renaissance to modern. From renowned festivals, such as the Leipzig Bachfest, the MDR Summer Music, the music festival in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, the “Kultursommer” in Nordhessen, and the “Musiksommer” in both Schönberg and Quedlinburg, to performances abroad, the singers have been warmly welcomed. the vocal quintet went on tour in 2007 to the People’s Republic of China and in 2010 to Taiwan. In 2013 the group was invited to Rome to perform a concert in honor of the council chairman of the Evangelical Reformed Church visiting the Holy See. In the same year Thios OmiLos won first place in the Johannes-Brahms-Competition in Wernigerode, the Anton-Bruckner-Competition in Linz, and the Leipzig Conservatory of Music and theater Ensemble Competition. We are specifically aimed at experienced singers who want to work quickly in a non-regular rehearsal setting. Imagine a Book Club for Choral singers! Each session every two or three weeks, we will look at a couple of new songs, chosen by differend members of the group, from the whole history of music, form Monvererdi to Madness. We have two experienced conductor/singers who will be happy to lead any session, but all singers will be encouraged to lead their own song choices if they wish. the aim, in the first intance, is to have fun exploring as much Choral repertoire as possible, in a fun and collaborative enviroment. We do not intend to book up concerts straight away - once we've had a few meetings and looked at enough repertoire then we'll think about performances. Let's work to get the music right first!
