Composed of about forty members, our group p...  moreOur association is situated in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in the heart of the National Park of the Mercantour, in the Southern Alps, north of Nice in the South-east of France, 50km from the seaside (Côte d’Azur). Composed of about forty members, our group presents itself either as a women’s choir, or a men’s choir or mixed choir. Our repertoire is varied and original : Renaissance, classical, traditional or more contemporary rhythms such as jazz, afro-latino, or contemporary songs. We celebrated in 2015 the thirtieth birthday of our association which has a long experience in exchange and sharing around choir singing. We have organized several festivals, masterclasses and various exchanges and thus contributed to the promotion of our region, the «département des Alpes-Maritimes» and to the development of choral singing (see examples below). They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canad...  moreThe Southend Boys' Choir was formed in 1972 and the Girls' Choir in 1988. The choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting choirs and enjoy joining with other youth choirs in concerts. We have a training choir for younger singers, and a choir for boys whose voices have changed.  

Singkronies is a SAMA award-winning mixed 'project' choir with approximately 35 members, selected on the merit of voice quality and musicality. The choir's size changes as per the musical requirements of the specific project being undertaken. The choir's size changes as per the musical requirements of the specific project being undertaken. The name Singkronies means singing without pause, as well as the desire to sing in a synchronized manner. We are conducted by the talented conductor and tenor, Nicholas Nicolaidis.
