When Fred Reinagel founded The Vail Chorale in 2011, his goal was simple: to create a non-auditioned community Chorus that would provide an opportunity for choral music-making on Tucson’s east side, welcoming singers of all ages and musical skills.
Sin... moreWhen Fred Reinagel founded The Vail Chorale in 2011, his goal was simple: to create a non-auditioned community Chorus that would provide an opportunity for choral music-making on Tucson’s east side, welcoming singers of all ages and musical skills.
Since its inception, The Vail Chorale has been entertaining local audiences with Fall and Spring concerts that feature musical styles for every taste. Performances have taken place at various locations including Empire and Cienega High Schools, the Arizona Senior Academy, and the Del Webb Lodge at Rancho del Lago.
Chorale members have included high school students as well as adults of all ages, who have found that the intergenerational experience has added to the fun of singing together. Concert attendees have remarked at the obvious enjoyment and enthusiasm that comes across to the audience.
The Vail Chorale is directed by Fred Reinagel, the Chorale’s founder. Fred determines the theme and selects the repertoire for each concert cycle. Assistant Director Mel... less

On our first birthday, we won the Acappella/barbershop class at the 2011 International Eisteddfod in Wales, and we have earned many awards and recognitions to date in varous competitions.
Under the direction of the exceptionally talented Mr Andrew Walker and his music team of award winning vocalists Affinity embraces educational aims, and encourages personal development in singing and performance.
Affinity are always happy to hear from potential bookings, and welcome new members to audition for the choir, we are a fun loving group of women who share the joys of singing, we employ strong values of team work, friendship and support.
