As a non-auditioned chorus, we inspire singers at all levels of ability to improve their vocal technique through informative rehearsals and performances of a wide variety of music, including sacred and secular, classical and popular, and historic and contemporary  

The Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and the Senior Surrey Children's Choir. The "family" also includes older levels, a Treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus...  moreThe Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and the Senior Surrey Children's Choir. The "family" also includes older levels, a Treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus, and a community adult chorus. The Junior and Intermediate Training Choirs (JTC and ITC) provide a program of sequentially developed skills which prepare choristers for admission into the Surrey Children's Choir. The training choirs perform annually at the Family Christmas Concert and Year End concert (held in May of each year). They also often compete at the Fraser Valley Kiwanis Music Festival, always with great results. The training choirs may also perform at various events in the community. The SCC, a Treble-voice choir of boys and girls aged 12-18 is a consistent gold medal winner at local festivals, hailed by Gerald Van Wyck, Vancouver Community College professor as "one of the best children's choirs in Canada". Their mission is to mount performances for various audiences with music by well known composers, while exploring the works of lesser known composers. Formed in 2006, Palmetto Voices is comprised of musicians from all around the southeast, lead by Dr. Sonja Sepulveda. Specialized styles include; concert spiritual, jazz and renaissance music.
