The group’s repertory is quite wide and eclectic and ranges from sacred and secular early music to contemporary works. Grupo vocal Olisipo attended several masterclasses led by some of the world leading vocal ensembles, such as The King's Singers and the Hilliard Ensemble and was coached in the performance of Baroque music by Jill Feldman.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate what it is to come together as a group of Women, and sing.
‘Here in my Heart’ by Sarah Quartel is a favourite piece for many singers in the choir: it speaks about the beauty of nature and the joy of making music. We last performed this piece in October 2020 at a concert that took place between two national lockdowns, when it felt especially poignant. We hope you enjoy it.

Our mission as an ensemble is to connect with the community and each other through the exploration of quality choral music, including the promotion of Women composers, within an engaging, encouraging, and intergenerational environment focused on healthy vocal technique and artistic excellence.
