The choir has performed throughout Scotland and beyond, with music covering all periods and most styles. Critically acclaimed, and attracting capacity audiences, at The Edinburgh Fringe and elsewhere, The choir is regularly invited to perform at prominent events and has been broadcast on BBC Radio (3, 4 and Scotland) and Classic FM. Cadenza’s most recent CD - Bright Star: Cadenza at Christmas – was reviewed in Classical Music Magazine and included in Breakfast on 3’s Advent Calendar in December 2013. Jenny Sumerling became Musical Director in 2000 and under her direction Cadenza has gone from strength to strength. Ben Parry, Director of The National Youth Choirs of Great Britain has been Cadenza’s Patron since 2003. We work hard to improve as a group and as individuals. We are an SATB choir of between 40 & 50 singers. We perform a Wide range of sacred and secular choir music at 3 concerts a year, in Ealing. Experienced singers are very welcome.

While performing a Wide and diverse repertoire, we remain steadfast in support of our threefold mission to: provide a welcoming place in The Triangle for women to share The joy of singing togeTher, promote choral works written by and for women, and strive to achieve The highest standards of musical excellence.  

Currently numbering 80-90 SATB singers of a Wide range of ages and nationalities. Singers are Therefore welcome to apply at any point, since The group will be fixed from a central pool for each concert. Repertoire is Wide-r...  is).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreisplay:none;">The Blackheath Conservatoire’s chamber choir is aimed at experienced choral singers and works on a project basis. Singers are Therefore welcome to apply at any point, since The group will be fixed from a central pool for each concert. Repertoire is Wide-ranging, from Renaissance polyphony to commissions from established and emerging British composers. The group is directed by Hilary Campbell and welcomes interest from experienced and enthusiastic choral singers of all ages.
