Since our first concert in 1995, Orpheus has presented a multi-concert subscription series each year to great critical acclaim. Orpheus has performed throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area at venues including the regional conference of the American Choral Directors Association, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Kimbell Museum of Art, UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center-Dallas, and numerous public Schools. Collaborations over its 30-year history have included Ars Lyrica Houston, Gramophone Award-winning Baroque scholar John Butt, Texas Camerata, jazz pianist Eric Barnes, hand drummer and international percussionist Jamal Mohamed, tanpura player Vatsal Dave, and many other outstanding instrumentalists. This auditioned SATB choir has a long history of performing high quality choral music at various events including School concerts, community events, and National conferences and festivals. Last year after winning the St John’s group choral Rosebowl, this choir won both the Provincial Music Festival and the National Music Festival of Canada. The choir has been featured on local television and radio programs and even performed live in concert International Children performing icons- The Wiggles. The Wiggles Performance garnered national attention with news articles in all major outlets across the country. The choir draws on talented and experienced Singers to perform a varied repertoire of both well-loved and lesser known works, and also recording commercial works, particularly for the film industry. We perform extensively around the capital, across the UK and internationally. Our President is Sarah Walker CBE.  

BSC Chamber Singers is a 16-voice auditioned vocal ensemble dedicated to understanding and applying the intricacies of the choral art to advanced choral literature.

Butial through...  moreThe Salinlahi Serenata Singers or fondly called SaSeSi is the official and resident choral ensemble of Bulihan Integrated National High School in Silang, Cavite. It was established on July 2013 by music educator and conductor Mr. Aristeo B. Butial through the help of their principal Mr. Willy D. Federico and head teacher of MAPEH Department Mr. Emeterio S. Vargas Jr. It became one of the pillars of performing arts in the said School promoting culture and arts through choral music. In 2015, when the Special Program in the Arts established, the group was tied up in order to utilize and serve as training ground for students majoring music with an emphasis in voice performance. Presently, the program is supervised by Mr. Ranier R. Gaspar as program coordinator.
