Every one of them have learned and recorded individually a part of an original song (Vuela Alto = Fly High). When brought together, this parts sums to a wonderful show of talent and music. This project was made for the graduation prom by students aged between 13 and 15 years old.
They show us that the only thing that matters to achieve anything is take the risk and surrender to your dreams. More than a third of them have never sung to an audience before (including Linda, the soloist).
The music brings us together, it allows us to raise our voice to the universe and with it "Ni la distancia podrá separarnos" (Not even the distance can take us apart). less

language: Latin.
Standard of difficulty: fairly easy.
Duration: circa 1½ minutes.
No divisi. No extreme ranges. One page. Suitable for both church and concert hall.
I wrote this with the aim of presenting the prayer with as much clarity as possible. To that end, I've set the text phrase by phrase rather than as deconstructed fragments.
The score may be downloaded and used for church or concert performances free of charge. Please let me know when the performance date is approaching. I'm keen to receive feedback, and I'll happily link your publicity material and website to my social media pages.

The Revelations won two Gold and one Silver medal at the World choir games in Austria (2008) singing choral a-cappella style music in the Gospel, Pop, and Male voice vocal ensemble categories. They were also declared world Champions in two of the categories after achieving the highest number of points in these two categories. The once eleven member team is now down to nine members and are working hard to retain the level of excellence which enabled them to win in Austria. See other uploads by 'vokaltotal' less
