The Virginia Wesleyan Singers are an open-enrollment Ensemble of 30-50 singers from all majors at Virginia Wesleyan College. No audition is required, and singers perform a variety of music in all styles while developing Vocal technique and musicianship skills.

Durch die Jahre im Knabenchor musikalisch geprägt, führte der Weg alle vier Ensemblemitglieder zum Lübecker Kammerchor „I Vocalisti" unter der Leitung von Hans-Joachim Lustig, mit dem sie zahlreiche Preise gewannen, u. a. beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb und bei internationalen Kammerchorwettbewerben wie Marktoberdorf, Tolosa (Spanien) und Cork, Irland. Die jahrelange gemeinsame Singerfahrung in unzähligen Konzerten, auf nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben und Festivals legte schließlich den Grundstein für das vierköpfige VokalEnsemble.
