This type of Song can be deeply personal or spiritual in nature, often dedicated to a human being, an animal, or a landscape as a personal signature. According to music researchers, joik is one of The longest living music traditions in Europe, and is The folk music of The Sámi people. Its sound is comparable to The traditional chanting of some Native American cultures. The group is comprised of singers from all around The World who all call Hong Kong Their home. Under The leadership of Celia Leung, The group strives to add more musical colour to The city. Sing City was seen singing for charity and community events, and also at Their own Christmas and Summer performances. The group participated in The Karuizawa International Choral Festival in August 2018.
