Our mission is to create a Boychoir that over time will become one of the finest in the country. The United States doesn't hAve the history of boy choirs that many European countries do but we can accomplish great things by educating boys in the art of singing and performing the finest music in the boy choir tradition. Teaching young boys the commitment and work necessary to accomplish a goal develops character, discipline, leadership, global awareness, and a strong commitment to excellence. The Fortis Boy Choir can and will accomplish these goals. We will help boys to feel good about what they can be and take these lessons with them into their future families and businesses.  ink" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

The CD is expertly conducted by the choir's musical director, James Sherlock and guest instrumentalists are 17-year old Edward Picton-Turbevill on the organ and award-winning young cellist James Barralet playing the solo part in Sir John TAvener's 'Svyati' for cello and choir. Lord Jesus hath a garden full of flowers gay, Where you and I can gather nosegays all the day: Refrain: There angels sing in jubilant ring, With dulcimers and lutes, And harps and cymbals, trumpets, pipes, And gentle, soothing flutes. And harps and cymbals, trumpets, pipes, And gentle flutes. There bloometh white the lily, flower of Purity; The fragrant violet hides there, sweet Humility: (Refrain) And one thing fairest is in all that lovely maze, The gard'ner, Jesus Christ, whom all the flowers praise: (Refain) O Jesus all my good and all my bliss!
