Performed by The Concert Choir ensemble of The Girl Choir of South Florida. Directed by Jessica Loman. Recorded live at The Broward Center for The Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Text:
There will be rest, and sure stars shining
Over The roof-tops crowned with snow,
A reign of rest, serene forgetting,
The music of stillness holy and low.
I will make this world of my devising,
Out of a dream in my lonely mind,
I shall find The crystal of peace,--above me
Stars I shall find. less

ECU performs two major Concerts each season with full professional orchestra musicians and pro soloists, and also a mini-Concert of our singers in solos and duets with piano. We often appear as featured guest artists with Elmhurst Symphony and in local appearances.
Our outstanding volunteer singers come from throughout The Chicago area for a unique musical experience. Our conductor James MacDonald has directed Choirs and orchestras throughout The U.S. and overseas, and teaches conducting and music Theory. Working with him has made us better singers and more knowledgeable musicians.
