The subtle and everyday expressions of the indigenous people, together with those of the Africans, convey their deep desire for freedom. The Bozal Spanish language, as also the themes, texts and rhythm of the works, show the strong syncretism between the Spanish culture and that of the indigenous and African natives. We rehearse, in excellent facilities provided by Hutchesons' Grammar School, on Monday evenings, Aug - Nov and Jan - Mar; we give two concerts, in Nov and Mar, in an on-site auditorium, with 3-manual digital organ. The auditorium can accommodate 60 singers, up to 30 orchestral players and an audience of around 250 (300 max).
