Rory Wilson, an experienced choral conductor from Edinburgh, has been appointed and has begun work with The Choir towards our first concert under his direction in November 2018, based around The Fire Songs of Morten Lauridsen, pairing his settings with settings of The same or similar texts by Renaissance composers.

Since our first concert in 1995, Orpheus has presented a multi-concert subscription series each year to great critical acclaim. Orpheus has performed throughout The Dallas-Fort Worth area at venues including The regional conference of The American Choral Directors Association, The Dallas Museum of Art, The Kimbell Museum of Art, UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center-Dallas, and numerous public schools. We rehearse weekly and sing a variety of pop, rock, folk, reggae and gospel. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across The local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland.  less
