We aim to give two or three concerts each year, plus a Christmas concert of music and readings. We are based in the village of Rolleston-on-Dove near Burton-upon-Trent, and draw our members – numbering around 50 at present - from a wide area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.
There is no formal audition. We rehearse each week during school term times, on Wednesday evenings. Visit our join us page if you would like to know more about how to get involved. less

The group meets every Wednesday evening in the gym at the Maudsley Hospital, 115 Denmark Hill SE5 8AZ between 6-7pm. Our patron is the wonderful Mary King.

Nach Graz waren auch die Sängerinnen und Sänger unseres Gospelchor... moreHerzlichen Glückwunsch Gospelchor Rejoice: Die 5. World Choir Games Graz 2008 sind der größte Wettbewerb in der Geschichte der Chormusik. Es waren rund 441 Ensembles aus 93 Nationen dabei. Nach Graz waren auch die Sängerinnen und Sänger unseres Gospelchores Rejoice mit ihrem Leiter, unserem Kirchenmusiker und Küster Roland Orthaus gefahren.
Und sie siegten! Rejoice holte eine von nur 6 Silber-Medaillen, die an Deutschland vergeben wurden. Für Rejoice bedeutet das, dass sie "Deutscher Meister" und "Vize-Europameister" in der Kategorie „Gospel/Spiritual" geworden sind. less

All performances are from memory, delivering carefully-structured, semi-choreographed programmes. Repertoire encompasses jazz, show tunes and folk songs as well as opera and the classical repertoire. Members include fellows and alumnae of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, as well as singers drawn from the wider community.
