It is a choir ensemble of about 25 people, mainly amateurs. They share an incredible passion for music and are keen on spreading Their positive singing energy. The choir is known for its modern choral music repertoire, consisting of songs from all over The world as well as Pop music masterpieces. The group was awarded a silver medal in Pop music category during 5th 'Music Everywhere Festival' in Gdansk in 2019. So far, The choir has performed in several places in Poland, often The non-obvious ones, trying to make choral music available to everyone. The choir’s conductor, Zuzanna Popiołkiewicz, graduated from Conducting faculty at The Academy of Music in Gdansk. In 2012, as a representative of Poland, she led music workshops for The American organization 'Singers of United Lands' in 23 US states, Canada, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Zambia. During The fifty plus years of its lifetime it has benefited from The leadership of five furTher conductors, David Griffiths, Margaret Maddock, Len Williams, Carol Davies and our present Director of Music, Alwyn Evans. The choir has travelled widely over The years with tours in Europe, United States and Canada besides engagements throughout Wales and England. Our concert venues have varied from village halls to national auditoria and great caThedrals. In The Eisteddfod field we have won two National first prizes plus several seconds and oThers. Our name reflects our roots in The telephony and technology sectors as we originally formed as a workplace choir in BT’s Edinburgh offices. We’ve since grown and attracted members from outside of our workplace. Led by Aly Skidmore, our vision from The outset was to build a dynamic performance choir for amateur singers. Under Aly’s musical direction, The choir has developed rapidly and grown significantly in both quality and reputation, receiving wide acclaim. The RingTones have been booked for a wide mix of charity, showcase and corporate events such as The Scottish Rugby Union’s Annual Awards 2015, Eden Festival 2015, The BT Scotland Annual General Meeting, The Scottish Parliament, Sports Relief, The Great Scot Awards 2014.
