Winning performance at the German National choir Competition 2010 in Dortmund

Our strength is our focus on community and making that bond stronger through music. We believe that our many voices make us all very different people, but together, through song, we have one heartbeat.  

The traditional tune here from our 2010 Lessons and Carols Candlelight Service. We are joined by six extras (college students from ATU and OBU).

All of the other songs sound amazing and this one is covered up and sounds like a lower video quality. South Salem High School's Symphonic choir preforming at the Oregon 6A choir championships. The fabulous amazing spectacular Carol Stenson is their long standing director. South Salem took FIRST PLACE at Oregon's State Competition. This was their second song of four. This whole competition took place at George Fox University in Newburg Oregon. The South Salem Saxons also took first at their Districts festival in Salem/Keizer Oregon. First Place : South Salem High School 'Saxons" Tied Second Place (alphabetical order) : Canby High School 'Cougars' and Sprague High School 'Olympians' Fourth Place : West Salem High School 'Titans' Fifth Place : Saint Mary's Academy  less
