That Choir was formed in the spring of 2008 by Craig Pike and 14 of his actor friends who wanted to create and share a music experience together. That Choir now brings together over 25 members with diverse backgrounds in work and study, and a mixture of trained and untrained voices. New Canadian artists are important for That Choir to nurture and have already performed new works by J. Scott Brubacher as well as Reza Jacobs in December 2010. Also in December of 2010, That Choir invited Canadian Theatre Artist Nancy Palk to read Dylan Thomas's " A Child's Christmas in Wales" as part of That Choir Carols - an annual celebration of the Holidays. As That Choir looks forward into 2011, it is becoming well known for its a cappella repertoire of many styles and periods with a strong focus on storytelling.  less

Er erlöset meine Seele von denen, die an mich wollen, und schaffet mir Ruhe; denn ihrer ist viel wider mich. Gott wird hören und sie demütigen, der allweg bleibet. Sela Sela Sela. In the evening, morning and midday I shall lament and cry So he will hear my voice He releases my soul from those who are against me and gives me peace for there are many of them against me God will hear and will humble them He who reigns forever.
