Singers in this ensemble demonstrate a high level of commitment to Choral singing and to sharing this art with audiences at home and around the world. The Chamber Choir forms the core of Cantilon’s touring and recording program and participates in many exciting and unique activities throughout the year.
The Chamber Choir performs locally in concert at least four times per season, and competes in music festivals at local, provincial and national levels. The Chamber Choir generally follows a three-year touring cycle: a regional tour in year one, national tour in year two, and an international tour every third year. In addition to its regular concert series, the Chamber Choir is often invited to perform with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Pro Coro Canada, Edmonton Opera and the Richard Eaton Singers. less

It was recorded on 5th December 2010 in the Harvey Nichols Espresso Bar in Leeds' magnificent Victoria Quarter in the first of St Peter's Singers' now-traditional Sunday evening carol performances there.
The Choir is directed by Dr Simon Lindley, its Music Director since the Singers' formation in June 1977.
More information about St Peter's Singers, including details of forthcoming concerts, recitals and liturgical performances, may be found on the Choir's website www.stpeters-singers.org.uk and on its Facebook group page 'St Peter's Singers of Leeds'. less
