Juan Belmonte, former conductor of the Orquesta Sinfónica del Zulia, in Venezuela, with the purpose of having a stable group for the symphonic choral repertoire. In the present time, Antiphona acts as an nonprofit civil association of culture promotion. The choir has been conducted by Mtro. Juan Carlos Bersague from 1995 to 2008. From 2010, Antiphona Titular Conductor is Mtro. César Alejandro Carrillo. In its curricular path, Antiphona has performed in several scenarios in Bulgaria, Colombia, Cuba, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Spain and Venezuela. We enjoy singing a wide range of repertoire, from classical to jazz and international music. We perform on a regular basis, raising funds for local charities and organisations. We have on going partnerships with choirs in Rheims and Ris Orangis. Our focus is on sharing the joy of singing and friendship.  

We're five choirs of seven hundred young people aged 9-25 from across the United Kingdom, and a national singing champion reaching hundreds more every year through outreach. We run inspirational residential courses and training programmes, create remarkable concerts and performances, and work in partnership to get singing happening in schools and open settings. We do it because singing together at the highest level transforms young people's lives, and we want to make sure that as many as possible get the chance to experience it for themselves.  less

Oakland based, East Bay born and bred, OJC brings original arrangements of traditional and contemporary vocal jazz to the Bay Area & beyond. In addition OJC presents an interactive vocal jazz workshop to the Oakland Public Schools. A blending of hearts and voices can have so much power. These voices unite to share in their common love of jazz and to help promote the art form in new ways while respecting its cultural roots. OJC is funded mainly through its performances, grants and individual donations. Those dollars fund day-to-day operations, artistic and professional fees. But what keeps OJC’s collective heart beating most of all is the love of Jazz.  less
