Since our first practice on 14 February 2013 the choir has grown to over 80 members with around 60 attending each Thursday.

He was also given a beautiful wife named Asenath who was daughter of the priest of On. He began travels throughout all the land of Egypt to administer his responsibilities in saving the land. Before long Joseph and Asenath had 2 sons whom they named Manasseh and Ephraim...not Egyptian, but HEBREW names. (Spiritual application: Far away from home it would be easy to forget your roots or principals that had been taught as a child, but Joseph proved by his children's names that he had not submitted to the false gods of the Egyptians. Sigalagala is a beautiful luo rendition from Kenya. The sacred song encourages on lookers to celebrate Christ as He passes across the Street. This piece also encourages individuals to seek salvation in order for them to enter heaven.

The Shrewsbury Chorale is a mixed choir of approximately 50 auditioned voices, which presents three formal concerts per season. Most repertoire is classical in nature.
