However it does not exempt the work of works accompanied by instrumental ensemble, piano, etc. This group's training base is four singers, two of them music professionals, malleable according to the repertoire, joining more singers if so required. Being a recent ensemble, it premiered in the March 2015 concert with the Lenten Concert (Solidarity Concert in favor of Maria Lara) in the Chapel of Covão do Coelho and the Church of Minde, with works by T.L de Victoria, A. Caldara, A. Scarlatti, J.S. Bach, G. Orbán, etc. Since its foundation the a cappella ensemble is directed and conducted by António Lourenço Menezes. -pt- O A CAPPELLA ENSEMBLE é um grupo vocal amador criado em Fevereiro de 2015 com o objectivo de se apresentar em concerto com obras corais a cappella. The RSNO Chorus has also had great success in recording with the Orchestra. The RSNO Chorus evolved from a choir formed in 1843 to sing the first full performance of Handel's Messiah in Scotland. Today, the RSNO Chorus is one of the most successful choruses in the UK. In recent years, the Chorus has performed practically every work in the standard choral repertoire along with contemporary works by renowned composers, including John Adams, Magnus Lindberg, Howard Shore and James MacMillan.  less
