(From Isiah 52:7) Sung at Canterbury Cathedral during our Royal School of Church Music Summer Course in 1986, under Martin How. I (David W Solomons) was one of the altos. In exitu Israel de Aegypto, domus Iacob de populo barbaro. When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a barbarous people: Facta est Iudaea sanctificatio eius, Israel potestas eius. Judea made his sanctuary, Israel his dominion. Mare vidit et fugit, Iordanis conversus est retrorsum. The sea saw and fled: Jordan was turned back.

We're a group of young professionals who specialise in early music, but Polyphony especially. The singers are made up of Cathedral choral scholars and Oxbridge choral scholars. They're directed by Matthew Collins.
