The name Sin...  moreSingkronies is a SAMA award-winning mixed 'PROJECT' choir with approximately 35 members, selected on the merit of voice quality and musicality. The choir's size changes as per the musical requirements of the specific PROJECT being undertaken. The name Singkronies means singing without pause, as well as the desire to sing in a synchronized manner. We are conducted by the talented conductor and tenor, Nicholas Nicolaidis.  

We are an a cappella mixed voice choir of around 35 singers. We started in 2008. We train together in vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own SOUND as well as that of our choir's. We train together in vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own SOUND as well as that of our choir's. We have a strong Folk influence and a variety of pieces that keep us challenged and growing. Directed and trained by singing teacher and choir coach Sandra Smith (www.singingandbreathing.co.uk) Throughout the pandemic we kept singing and did a short but very fun Homegrown Harmony PROJECT where all singers participated in a small group piece or a solo and recorded it.
